Side Hustle Money Making Ideas

60+ Ways to Make Extra Money

For all 60+ ideas, go to 60+ Ways to Make Money on the Side

There were a lot of really interesting ideas here, but some of the ones that peaked my interest were:

Photo Booth Operator. This could be fun, especially if you like working with cameras and software. However, it could also get quite crazy since you'd also be dealing with (possibly drunk) people at a lot of different events.

Women's Handkerchiefs Dealer. Perhaps not so much handkerchiefs exactly, as finding something simple and easy to sell that you could put on Amazon and have them fulfill the orders for you.

Making Money Planners. I think this would be a great idea in almost any area: meal planners, financial planners, school/homeschool planners, marketing planners, book planners, and just about anything that requires steps, plans and organization. :)

Group Cruise Planner. You don't make a LOT but it can pay fairly well and works great if you love to plan, do research, find deals, or travel.

Product Demonstrator or "Sample Passer-Outer". This is on my list for no particular reason, I just think it would be fun.

There are a lot more unique ideas like being a mascot, taste testing, estate sale host, frequent flyer mile specialist, running coach and so many more. If you're looking for some different or off the wall money making ideas, I encourage you to check them out. www.budgetsaresexy.com

Some of my favorites are:

Mobile car wash. Though, I would expand it out into cleaning the interior, as well. Possibly even adding mobile oil change to it.

Selling cold water at outdoor festivals and busy vacation destinations. I'd be tempted to find any event (indoor or outdoor) that I could sell at and add soft drinks and snack foods to the mix.

Design and build water features. This would likely be a lot of work but it could also be quite fun.

Selling arbitrage. Basically you are buying items or services at a low price and then reselling them for a profit. I liked this idea because it didn't particularly demand any huge amount of skill (depending on the products you pick to resell) and there is usually an already preexisting market for what would be resold. I actually wrote a book on service arbitrage called Service Arbitrage: How to Use Other People's Talent to Make Money From Home.

Be an odd job aficionado. Interesting mostly for the sake of always having something new to do and getting experience in a lot of different areas.

Rent out a room. While I'm not sure how I would feel having a complete stranger in my house, I think if you rented out your backyard to campers or an empty shed, it could work just as well.
